Red Lobster - Ottawa

Went to Ottawa for some Red Lobster and chose the lobster tail, shrimp and scallops on wood-fire grill plate...Pretty good I have to say. I wonder why Red Lobster pulled out of Montreal years ago—if it can survive in Ottawa surely it can survive here in Montreal? Does anyone know why?
