Well the LCD screen has bit the dust...Booting up the netbook only reveals a blue/green screen with green vertical lines running from top to bottom. No Acer logo, no Windows logo just a useless screen.

So obviously, I cannot recommend this product anymore...Just after a year and the LCD needs to be repaired/replaced. There are local places that can fix it at a significant cost, but things like this shouldn't break down just outside of year (three months after warranty of course). I will never buy an Acer netbook. And being on the computer & monitor shopping market right now it's hard to look at other Acer products after seeing this experience.
