Nice article about designer sunglasses. Sunglasses have a short lifespan (at least for me) so it's good to know that you aren't missing much/anything in the $500+ range for designer sunglasses (except a lighter wallet).

Essentially, there's really no difference between designer brands if you must have one (they are all pretty much made by the same company). And even pharmacy sunglasses will do the job cutting out white light and block UV rays. The one thing I was not quite up to speed on, was where they say you can get decent polarizing lenses for ~$70. Polarizing lenses are for cutting out glare (example light bouncing off snow or water) which could be useful when driving.
