Montreal Macarons: Boutique Point G

1
Macarons are one of the tastiest treats I've ever eaten...These cookie/pastry-like sweets are not for those who do not like sugar. Maybe a little on the pricey side (essentially $1.50 per mouthful), but it's so good...mmmm, sugar. I've tried the ones at Point G, and they do not disappoint those who have a sweet tooth.

Wikipedia:
A macaron is a sweet confectionery made with egg whites, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food coloring.

And here's a chart of the flavours that Point G has...

Update: Having tried some macarons in Paris, I wouldn't say there is a world of difference between those and the ones here at Point G.

  1. Added a new close up macaron picture.

One thing that I noticed is that in Paris they also made "large" macarons that were maybe 2-3 times the size of a regular macaron. Maybe they have those somewhere in Montreal, but I just haven't seen them yet.
