Monoprice Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style Over-the-Ear Pro Headphones Review

I'm not a hardcore audiophile, so shopping by price with decent performance is the main criteria for me.  There are surely headphones that are better, but the reviews seem to be pretty decent at this price point so I took a chance and picked up these budget Monoprice branded headphones for just under $20.

For me, the sound quality is pretty decent and does the job well enough for the price. I'm really a part time user of headphones, not someone who will wear them for hours on end. The bass and mid-range seem good enough for my untrained ears.

The cable is detachable which is nice, so you don't have to worry about the cable snapping off and rendering the headphones useless. One other note is that the first pair of headphones I received were defective, but the replacement product seems to work fine so far.
