Google Pixel 4a 128GB Smartphone Review

Picked it up at Best Buy using their "Curbside Pickup" option where they walk out to your car and bring you whatever you bought online. It's a decent upgrade from my Honor 7X smartphone, as it feels snappier and is actually more compact which is nice (I prefer smaller smartphones). Honestly, I didn't even want to upgrade despite the age of my old phone, but I really wanted a better camera phone at a mid-tier price, which seems to be the case so far.

My biggest gripe is the Google case is $50 CAD! For a piece of plastic it seems bit steep, but maybe that's just me. There are no Home or Back buttons anymore, so it's something I've had to get used to, but it's not a big deal in the end actually. I'm not very worried about the specs being mid-tier...My old Honor phone was considered mid-tier three years ago, and it's still a decent performer (it's not lightning quick anymore, but still usable). It's also my first taste of a pure Android experience, and so far so good.
