Logitech G502 Wired Mouse Review

0

Been using the Logitech G502 Wired Mouse for a few months now, and I can say that even with the new advancements of wireless technology, a wireless mouse doesn't quite feel the same as an old fashioned wired mouse. It's noticeable when playing competitive games, even as an amateur gamer.

One detail that I do like (that I never really thought about before) is the material used to coat the wire itself. It's not coated in a relatively inflexible plastic, like you would see on a power cord...The wire is wrapped in a flexible cloth-like material. This is a great detail because the wire on my old Logitech MX518 mouse used to "resist" my mouse movements ever so slightly, in an annoying way. This mouse almost feels like a wireless mouse since the wire largely stays out of my way most of the time. It would be hard to go back to a mouse with a stiff wire.

Specs that mattered to me:

  • Weight: 121 g, mouse only (Optional extra weights: up to 18 g)
  • Cable length: 2.10 m
  • Resolution: 100 – 25,600 dpi
  • 2-Year Limited Hardware Warranty
