By now most people driving south on Cotes-Des-Neiges know that there is a camera positioned just before you enter the downtown area so it can take a very expensive picture of you speeding.
What's ridiculous is that everyone seems to slow down to 30km/h (sometimes even slower) when the speed limit is actually 50km/h...Why do people do this? It just doesn't makes any sense...
It's actually more dangerous this way, since people are flying down the street and then hit the brakes in middle of the street just to get down to 30km/h (again which makes no sense to me). If you are reading this, just slow down to 45km/h to be safe...I've driven by there enough times and never triggered the camera at that speed.
